THINGS I WILL NEED A LOT OF TO KEEP ME SANE UNTIL I GRADUATE:

• pancakes
• books I haven't read yet
• books I love to re-read

• freshly sharpened pencils
• double, triple, quad shot lattes
• cds, cassettes, LPs, etc.
• naps

• lighters to flick, papers to rip, guitar strings to pluck, anything to calm my constantly twitchy hands
• a new pair of shoes every few months
• tea

• someone to play tennis with
• Franny and Zooey
• extra long, extra hot showers

• movie nights with friends
• good hair days
• The Dodos

• The Beatles
• the soothing voices of Chet Baker and Nat King Cole
• encouraging words
• study days at the MSU library

• fashion magazines
• Dum Dums
• Audrey Hepburn movies
• good television (i.e. The Office, F
light of the Conchords, Gossip Girl)
• bad television (i.e. anything involving Tyra Banks, The Hills)
• British television (i.e. Doctor Who, Torchwood, East Enders, Primeval, etc.)
• and an absence of self-loathing would be nice as well.

Now I have to finish a paper on a story by Hemingway.

p.s. THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS

• Yearly spring break excursion to Winnipeg (March)
• The Watchmen (March)
• Going to Fargo to listen to Chuck Klosterman (April)
• Asking Chuck to be my prom date (April)
• Sweet seventeen (April)
• Tennis (April)

Looks like January and February can suck it.
